STATEMENT
Put nice books , selected and recommended by the
kids themselves, (every year on their own birthday) into every classroom
in the United States.

My name is Brittany Turner and I’m in the 12th Grade. Every year on my birthday, my Mom and I go shopping and I pick out my favorite book that I then donate to my classroom library.
|
One day, I had this idea that every year on EVERY student’s birthday they could do the same! I think all students should select a book and donate it to the Classroom Library so that everyone can enjoy it. Everyone in THEIR class could enjoy it that year, and everyone in all of your classes from then forward, too!
I know all children will love this project as I do!
When I was in 7th Grade we came up with the idea of the “Happy Birthday Book Foundation.” This was so other children with their number one favorite book knew how they could participate in helping us. |
